Onsite and Remote Support:
Will provide onsite technical support for software installed
on Healthcare Information Data Center. ( HIDC
) mainframe systems (H I Data Center and DR ) on an 8 hour per
day, 5-day per week with on call support
24 hours per day, 7-day per week.
Technical Support Includes
• Support of all software, including the
IBM operating system, IBM subsystems and 3 rd party products installed on
• Provide technical assistance for problem
isolation and identification.
• Identify maintenance/PTFs required to
resolve technical issues.
• Research and answer questions from
management, operations and application developers.
• Upgrades of the IBM operating system as
required by HIDC.
• Provide HIDC with "how to" support for
• "Best effort" support for all unsupported software
releases required by HIDC
Consider Out of Scope
• Upgrades of other systems such as IBM,
CICS, IMS, DB2 and other 3 rd party software can be done under a separate
• Software evaluation and installation of
products not currently used in HIDC environment. Separate billable
contract for services could be negotiated.
• Network issues past the network
interface to the host.
• Application code support.
• HIDC will retain ownership of all
mainframe hardware and software included in this SOW.
• HIDC will maintain service contracts for
all mainframe hardware covered in this SOW.
• HIDC will maintain valid maintenance
agreements for all software covered in this SOW unless specifically

access, security clearance, user-ID, badges and separate work area with a

resources, subject matter experts and hardware, to support agreed upon

included in the base agreement fees.
• Additional personnel are available
remotely that may have additional fees depending upon the service

provided to support a service request not covered in the base agreement,
HIDC will reimburse QnH Global Technologies , Inc. for all reasonable
out-of-pocket expenses, including, without limitation, travel and living
expenses to support the service request.
